This is a great movie about the life of the humble St. Joseph Cupertino (Maximilian Schell) who is considered less than intelligent by most who know him. His mother convinces the Abbot to accept him into the Franciscan Abbey where the novice master (Ricardo Montalban) questions his ability and sincerity; He then becomes a priest to everyone's astonishment until a miracle reveals to everyone the heights of his sanctity. An inspiring film for all ages.
