In 1830 Our Lady appeared to a humble French Sister, St. Catherine Laboure. She gave her the design of the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, which we know today as the miraculous medal. Our Lady promised an abundance of grace to those who wear it with faith and confidence. Feastday: November 27
