St. Anthony of Padua: 4" statue


One of the world's most popular saints, St. Anthony was born in Portugal. Leaving the Augustinian Order to join the Franciscans with the hopes of being martyred in Africa. God placed him instead in Italy, where he worked for a time in the monastery kitchen. He was called upon to preach a sermon, where his brilliance was discovered. He was loved by all and worked many miracles.  Feastday: June 13
