The Importance of a Catholic Education

Re-typeset by Mary Immaculate Queen Center from The Beauty and Truth of the Catholic Church by Rev. Edward Jones, this 18-page booklet contains two sermons by Fr. Jones that state the importance of raising and instructing children in the True Faith. 

“The flame of the light burns upwards, so should Christian parents draw the hearts of their children upwards from this sinful earth to grace, and faith and virtue and finally to God…Then parents will receive a reward exceeding great from the hands of Him, from whose Divine lips fell these gracious words: “Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come to me: for the kingdom of heaven is for such” (Matt. 10, 14).”
