St. Augustine of Hippo Medal

It is hard to say whether St. Augustine is better known for his powerful conversion, or his absolute genius. It is believed that the Te Deum was written for the occasion of his baptism, and that he composed the Exultet. From great sinner to great saint, he owes his sanctification to the prayers of his mother St. Monica. He is the patron of theologians, brewers and printers.
