The Life of St. Gemma Galgani

St. Gemma was a mystic, and as with many mystics, was very misunderstood. Called to a life of virtue from her early youth, St. Gemma longed to enter a convent, but this was not God's will for her. Obedient to her spiritual directors, and overcoming many trials, including obsession by a devil, she died at the young age of 25.
